HOW IT WORKS
- Heat penetrates a few centimeters into tissue and stimulates the skin’s sensory receptors when the tissue temperature rises. Heat decreases transmission of pain signals to the brain and helps to increase blood flow to the injured area, which in turns expedites healing.
- Lavender soothes nerves (anxiety), improves sleep (insomnia), stabilizes mood (depression), and relieves pain (analgesic). During the heat process the fragrance is released, and by inhaling, the lavender stimulates the part of the brain connected to smell. The molecules that enter the nose pass to the lungs, and from there, to other parts of the body.
- When heated, flaxseed provides a gentle, moist heat which promotes healing. Flaxseeds are flower seeds, they contain 30-40% oil which remains inside the seed to be warmed again and again.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Heat Therapy - Simply heat in microwave in 30 second increments until bag feels warm. Place the bag over the aching area. The filling will gently shape to the body and offer targeted pain relief. It will retain its heat for up to 40 minutes.
Do not apply heat to obviously injured or infected tissue (swelling, red and/or hot), acute inflammation (e.g., flare-up of arthritis), or broken skin. Instead, use your Flaxi bag as a cold compress in such instances.
Cold Compress - Place Flaxi bag in the freezer inside a sealed bag for 30 minutes or until cold.
- Flaxi bag can be reheated many times over. Let it cool down completely before reheating.
- Over time, the fragrance of your Flaxi Lavender Heat Bag will diminish. To renew its therapeutic
fragrance, spritz with FLAXI LAVENDER MIST, or add 3-4 drops of Lavender pure essential oil onto the fabric which will be absorbed by the flaxseed. - Your Flaxi Lavender Bag will last for several years, however we recommend replacing it annually.
- Do not wash or immerse in water. Use a damp sponge to lightly cleanse the outside of the bag.
- Store in an airtight container or sealed bag after cooling to preserve its fragrance.

Returns Policy
If a replacement or credit is required due to product not to the liking of the recipient or not as expected the purchaser shall be liable for any return shipping and other charges that might arise. Returns are not accepted due to a change of mind, so please choose carefully. Exchanges will not be permitted. Goods (in original packaging and unused) must be returned within 7 days from purchase and a 10% handling fee will be charged.
Due to the nature of our products we can’t accept any opened or used products for returns.
Please note that we don't accept returns on nail varnish, bulbs, electrodes, gels or tweezers. These need to be checked / viewed on receipt and returned with driver.
